I read about The 2008 Vendy Awards on Midtown Lunch. I haven’t paid $80 for an event to date, but this one does seem cool.
I’d probably be better off investing in a cooking class. There are lots of places to take classes in NYC…

Last night I made this. Followed this recipe for salmon (minus coriander, couldn’t find any at the grocery store), although I ended up grilling in a pan vs. on a grill. I also subbed cuscus for rice and added an italian dressing mixed greens salad with tomatoes and grapes. It was delicious!

I felt inspired this morning to make the cherry muffins I’ve been talking about. Haven’t tried them yet as they just came out of the oven, but they look delicious! I’ll let you know if they taste that way too, later. Now we’re off to see the apartment. Hope it’s nice!
